Draft Cayman Islands Constitution (Amendment) Order 2019

The Draft Cayman Islands (Amendment) Constitution 2019: In May 2019 the Cayman Islands Government, with the support of the Opposition, began formal discussions with the United Kingdom to seek reforms to the Constitution.  This draft changes the name of the Legislative Assembly to "Parliament", and makes changes to the following sections of the Cayman Islands Constitution Order 2009 (as amended in 2016): amendments to sections   32, 44, 48, 58, 71, 77, 81 and 124; insertions at section 54A, 58A, 58B, 126; and a revocation of section 80.
