Mr. Pineau is a journalist by profession and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce since 1994. He has served on numerous government and private sector advisory committees and boards.
He served as secretary to the Non-Governmental Organisation Constitutional Working Group and has attended regional United Nations seminars and conferences on self-determination in Anguilla, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and New York City. In 2009 he served as a member of the negotiating team during constitutional talks in the Cayman Islands.
Prior to the Chamber position, he served as editor of The New Caymanian newspaper, associate editor of Newstar magazine and editor of the reference book, Cayman Islands Who’s Who and Business Guide.
Mr Pineau served as a member from 2009 to 2015.
