Dr. Christopher A. Williams is an associate professor of sociology, history, and philosophy at the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI). He has published articles in top-tiered academic journals and is the author of two critical texts on the development of the multicultural Cayman Islands and their established and ‘adopted’ peoples. His latest book, 'Race, Religion, Multiculturalism, and Everyday Life: A Philosophical, Conceptual Examination', will be published shortly by Ethics International Press. Dr. Williams is also a published poet and is in the process of completing an epic historical Caribbean poem. In addition, he is an active jazz musician and lover of all musical things fusion.
Dr. Williams was appointed as a Member on 1 January 2020 for a three-year term.
